Milanesas de Pollo Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breasts

Prep time: 75 minutes (1hr is marinating in the fridge and 12 minutes in the air fryer)

– 4 thin-sliced chicken breasts (I got chicken tenders and sliced them vertically down the center to open them butterfly-style)
– 3 egg whites
– a pinch of: parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, parmesan cheese
– bread crumbs (I used gluten free)

1. Mix the egg whites, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley in a bowl
2. Stack the chicken breasts in the bowl making sure they are all soaked in the egg white mix

3. Place in the fridge for 1 hour
4. Pour bread crumbs generously over a large plate and mix with a pinch of Parmesan cheese
5. After an hour, take the marinated chicken breasts out of the fridge
6. Take one chicken breast and lay on the breadcrumbs. Turn over to allow the other side to be covered with the crumbs

7. Repeat step 6 for the other three chicken breasts
8. Put in the air fryer at 400F for 12 minutes. If you choose to fry them in a skillet, they will cook in about 5 minutes
