Ingredients:
- 1 artichoke
- 1/4-1/2 cup of lemon juice
- salt
Preparation:
- In a covered pan, boil the artichoke for 1 hour – enough water to cover at least half of the artichoke
- After an hour, remove the artichoke from the boiling/steaming water and let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes
- in a small bowl, pour the lemon juice and salt to taste – option to add 1tbsp vegetable oil to the lemon-salt mix
