Homemade Tiramisu – Gluten Free

I was craving tiramisu, but could not find a gluten free version (as I am celiac). This tiramisu recipe is super easy, only requires four ingredients, and can be made with gluten if you want to substitute the ladyfingers used here.

Preparation time: 25 minutes (including time in the fridge)

  • 24 Gluten free vanilla wafers (I couldn’t find ladyfingers so I got vanilla wafers instead) – you can use more if your container is larger
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • 2 store-bought containers of Mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  1. Mix the Mascarpone in a 6:1 ratio of Mascarpone:water – this will give the cheese a creamier consistency
  2. Soak 12 vanilla wafers in the coffee and place them in a tray
  3. Spread half of the creamy Mascarpone (#1) on top of the wafers
  4. Repeat steps 2+3
  5. Sprinkle the cocoa powder over the top layer
  6. Put in the fridge for 20 minutes
  7. ENJOY!
